Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread
An easy "bread" made with pumpkin, spices, and chocolate chips!
- 3 C Flour
- 2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Allspice
- 3 C Sugar
- ½ tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Ground Cloves
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 4 Eggs
- 1 C Vegetable Oil
- ⅔ C Water
- 2 C Pumpkin Puree
- 12 oz Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 325°.
In a Large Bowl mix Flour, Baking Soda, Salt, Allspice, Sugar, Baking Powder, Cloves, and Cinnamon.
In a Small Bowl mix Eggs, Oil, and Water.
Combine wet ingredients with dry and mix well.
Add Pumpkin and Chocolate Chips to the mix and stir.
Grease and Flour 2 large loaf pans (or 6 small loaf pans). Bake 325° for 1 hour 15 min. (Or 1 hour for smaller pans).
- You can sub 3 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice mix for the Allspice, Cloves, and Cinnamon if you don't have them.
- Baking time will depend on the size of the loaf pans. Just keep an eye on them! Loaves are done when you stick a knife in the middle and it comes out clean.
- Let cool before removing from loaf pan.
