It’s time to put away the sandals and start thinking about boots! I have to admit that even though it’s probably too hot for boots in Southern California, I still love to shop for them! Boots/booties are always at the top of my fall wishlist. Suffice it to say, I have quite a few pairs! So in today’s post I’m sharing where I like to buy my fall boots!
Where to Get the Best Fall Boots
I’ll preface this by saying that I do like to spend a little more on my footwear to get genuine leather boots because they just hold up so much better. So if a quality pair of leather boots lasts years, I’m ok with spending a little more. Leather is also more comfortable, in my opinion, because it ends up molding to your foot and softening up over time.

Everlane
I have quite a few pairs of booties from Everlane*. I think Everlane offers quality footwear at a decent price. I wear their sandals and flats everyday/all day and they’ve held up great. So while I don’t get a chance to wear the boots as often (because it never gets cool enough in California!) I still think they are worth the money.
I LOVE the Everlane Day Boots because the leather is sooo soft. I also have the and ankle version of the Boss Bootie. I really love the Boss Boot in snakeskin. Everlane also has Western style booties, Knit Boots, Chelsea Boots, and Rain Boots! BTW, my Everlane Rain Boots get SO many compliments whenever I wear them out.

Nordstrom
If you are looking for a wide range of boot/bootie options at all price ranges then I suggest Nordstrom. Nordstrom also has a lot of great sales AND they will price match their competitors. Plus, you can earn points and shopping credits when you sign up for the Nordstrom Card. If you plan on making big purchases from Nordstrom (aka a pair of $100 boots) I definitely recommend signing up for the card. I have it and Nordstrom sends me $20 shopping credits every now and then (even though I don’t even use my card that often).
My favorite brand of bootie to buy from Nordstrom are Marc Fisher LTD boots. I love the pointed toe, the metal detail at the tip and the heel heights. This pair reminds me of a more affordable version of the Acne boot. I have this pair in patent leather and a suede.
Other brands that I like from Nordstrom are Sam Edelman, Matisse, Jeffrey Campbell, Dolce Vita, and Steve Madden

Shopbop
When I’m looking for a pair of designer boots I always check out Shopbop*. I love that they have a curated collection of designers at all price ranges. It makes it easier to find the best styles without having to check out each designer individually. It also helps me to discover new designers that I’d never heard of before!
For example, I discovered the brand An Hour and A Shower through Shopbop and picked up this ice skating inspired pair of boots! They ended up being one of my favorite pair of boots. Some of my other favorite designers you can find on Shopbop include BY FAR (see the snakeskin pair to the right), Miista, Loeffler Randall, MANU Atelier.

French Boot Brands
You know I have an obsession with French Fashion so of course I have to include two French brands with gorgeous boot options: Sézane and Bobbies. Both of these brands have similar styles although Bobbies is specifically a shoes and leather goods brand. Bobbies was kind enough to gift me the croc embossed booties you see to the right and I love them!
Both Sézane and Bobbies are committed to ethical manufacturing and sustainability so you can also feel good about your purchase!
I also want to give a shoutout to Rouje – another French fashion brand that I love. They have a larger collection of boot options this year and I’m loving the styles! Get $40 off your first purchase of $70+ on Rouje.com through this link!

Duo Boots
If you are someone who has the HARDEST TIME finding boots that fit your calf then you should check out Duo Boots. They offer boots in a wide variety of calf sizes. I have narrow, scrawny calves (around a 13″ circumference) and tall boots never fit my calves properly. So I’ve kind of given up on tall boots and just stick with ankle booties. However, I’d really love to try out Duo Boots. And they don’t just offer narrow calf sizes – they also offer wide calf sizes!

Madewell
I’ve been a fan of Madewell’s shoes for awhile – although I’ve never tried their boots. I have a lot of their flats and sandals though and I really like them. But their boots styles are right up my alley. Madewell does run sales pretty often so you might be able to get a discount. You can also find Madewell shoes at Shopbop and Nordstrom.

Ethical Boot Brands
A few ethical boot brands in addition to Everlane, Sézane and Bobbies that I have on my radar include Nisolo, ABLE, Dear Frances, and Poppy Barley. I haven’t tried any of these brands but I’ve heard great things about them!
