When Strangers Attack

There are usually people taking walks or kids playing outside when we go to take outfit photos. There’s even an old guy walking around with a parrot on a stick. But they usually just leave us alone. Well, one lady decided she’d stop and watch while we took our photos. Which is fine, except she didn’t just watch. She decided to carry on a conversation with me while I was trying to pose…haha! She even started giving me modeling tips.

She was well meaning but really, if you see someone trying to take photos why would you try to have a conversation with them? We managed to make it through without my husband freaking out on her. She was literally standing right over his shoulder…haha.
Anyway, my husband and I and a few friends are planning to go to the Magic Castle this weekend. It has a strict dress code – dresses or skirts and blouses for ladies. (I tried to wear my lacy black jumpsuit last time but they wouldn’t let me!) So I’m going to wear this navy tulle skirt (that my mama made me!), a white blouse and my Rocksbox earrings. I think they’ll let me in. P.S. If you don’t own a tulle skirt you need to get one in your closet ASAP. They just make you feel like a princess!

  1. Oh my, that does sound super awkward! Usually people keep their conversations with me to minimum, especially if I have a photographer. They tend to get far more chatty with the tripod.
You still look quite lovely and like a princess indeed. The perfect skirt for a place called Magic Castle.
