So a funny thing happened this week: I realized all my blog worthy outfits involved gingham.  So I’m just going to make this “Ways to Wear Gingham Week”!  This has actually been one of my most versatile shirts.  It’s great for layering or on it’s own.  I think the ripped jeans and the statement necklace give a little interest to this basic “jeans and a shirt” outfit.
In this outfit you see me wearing some of my birthday gifts to myself! After cutting back on shopping in February I splurged a little since March is my birthday month.  Well, if you call paying less than $20 on ripped jeans and a necklace on sale at Anthropologie splurging.

  1. Jessica did I miss your birthday or is it coming up? I'm so senile lol! I agree with you gingham and chambray are two versatile pieces! I love how yours is on the longer/looser side so it's more comfortable and pairs well with skinny jeans, distressed denim, etc. You should definitely treat yourself especially cause it's your birthday month:)!

  2. A gingham week – how fun! This outfit is great; I love how you kept it casual but kicked it up a style notch with the awesome statement necklace. I can't wait to see the rest of the gingham outfits!
