A Vintage Inspired Look with Oversized Blazer + Straight Leg Jeans
If you’ve been following along you’d know I’m obsessed with blazers. So when I saw this one from Rouje’s new spring collection I had to get it. A lot of my blazer’s are plaid or neutral so I thought this would be a fun one for spring. Plus, whenever I wear something from Rouje I feel like an instant French girl.
This blazer is oversized and has wider shoulders than most of my other blazers. So it definitely gives off more of a vintage vibe. to go along with the vintage look I paired the blazer with my new Everlane 90’s Cheeky Straight Jean. I LOVE this jean style. I previously said the Everlane’s Authentic Stretch Denim was my favorite but I think I’ve changed my mind. I love the high waist button fly. And the feel of the denim is a little sturdier and lived-in. You definitely need to SIZE DOWN in this style though. I wear a 25 in the Authentic Stretch Jean but in the 90’s Cheeky I wear a 24 – and they aren’t even super tight on me! This jean is 100% cotton too so it will stretch out.
I added these vintage inspired woven pumps and cute ‘Le Box Bag‘ from Clare V. I think these are the finishing touches to this updated vintage look.
