Trench Coat Weather
I picked the perfect day to take my new trench coat out for a spin! It’s actually raining here in California! (That’s not dandruff in my hair – it’s the rain!). You may remember this post where I talked about my search for the perfect trench. I actually ended up buying two – one from ASOS and this one from J.Crew. I really liked the style of the ASOS trench but it wasn’t 100% cotton and the feel wasn’t exactly what I was looking for in a classic trench so I returned it. I ended up sticking with the J.Crew one. It’s definitely pricier but I feel that this style is timeless. The good news is there is a less expensive option from J.Crew too!). And the great news is J.Crew is having a SALE! 30% off pretty much everything with code “TIMETOSHOP”.

Anyone else glad it’s FRIDAY! That means it’s time to flashback to last year! Here’s a look from last April. I guess it was warm and sunny out! I’m really loving this outfit actually. I’ll have to put this peplum top + lace skirt outfit together again soon.

Hope to see you for TBT Fashion link up.
Your trench coat is lovely! For something so classic that you’ll wear so much it makes sense to splurge a little and get something you’re really happy with! 🙂
In saying that, both my trench coats cost less than $40 and I’ve been wearing them for years, haha! Just shopped the end of season sales 😉

Love the look. I just bought my first trench from ASOS. Hoping to take it for a spin today, since this rainy LA weather only comes around rarely!
