Tradlands Glenn Shorts Review
I’m continuing my shorts kick with this new pair from Tradlands! I’m a Tradlands partner so I’ve had the opportunity to try a few of their pieces. So far I’ve reviewed their dresses and cardigan so I thought I’d mix it up with a pair of shorts. Here is my Tradlands Glenn Shorts Review!

Tradlands Glenn Shorts Review
My Measurements: 33-28-38, 130lbs, 30D, 5’8″
The Tradlands Glenn Short is a vintage inspired track short with a drop hem, curved side detail, and side seam pockets, They are made from 100% “easy care” cotton. The cotton is described as “crinkle cotton” so it does have a nice texture to it. They are unlined so I do find that the white shorts are semi see through. I just have to make sure I’m wearing nude underwear!
I was torn about what size to order. I’m usually a size small in Tradlands dresses and I feel like they do run a bit big. Looking at the size chart for the shorts I felt like I’d be a size medium. I decided to order the medium and they definitely do fit. The waistband is pretty snug so I don’t think I would have been comfortable in the size small. However, the shorts themselves are pretty voluminous and I feel like I would have looked better in them in a size small.
These shorts also sit really high on the waist. Definitely above my belly button and just under my rib cage. If I try to wear them lower the crotch area just looks too baggy.
I think if I were to order these myself I would have gone with the black version. That way the material wouldn’t be see through and I think the black would look more slimming on me. I also think the black is easier to dress up.
A Black and White Summer Outfit
I decided to go with a black and white theme for this outfit featuring the Tradlands Glenn Shorts. I added my Sézane tank, Freda Salvador sandals, and checkered Clare V. bag. Layered gold chains and my denim jacket add some interest to the black and white look.
The Glenn short can also be paired with the matching Coast Camp Shirt. Honestly, that shirt would probably balance out the outfit a little more than the tank I’m wearing. Since the shorts are so voluminous, the tight tank makes my upper body appear even smaller. The matching boxy Camp Shirt would have evened out the proportions and look super cute because it’s matching!
Overall, these shorts are really comfortable but I feel like the sizing is a bit off. Since I’m usually a size small in Tradlands I feel like I should be able to fit in the size small Glenn Shorts. I still might be able to fit in the size small since the waistband is elastic and stretchy. However, the size medium waistband does feel snug on me so I’m not sure if I’d want a tighter fit with the size small.
