Too Hot for Long Sleeves

Top: Forever 21, Jeans: American Eagle, Shoes: H&M, Belt: H&M, Purse: Thrifted, Necklace: InPink, Bracelet: Forever 21, Nails: Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow

I’m trying to get fall to get here quicker by wearing long sleeve shirts and long pants.  It’s not really working.  I just end up having to take more showers.  Also, I wasn’t sure if the leopard belt was a little too much so I hid it under my shirt.  What do you think?

  1. I keep on thinking that if I wear pants or long sleeved tops it will make the weather be cooler. Nope. Not at all. In fact it is now 100 degrees and is just like it would be in July.

  2. The belt gives the outfit edge so you should show it off not hide it. And you are lucky you get fall. Where I'm from is hot all year round, so I can only dream of jackets and boots 🙁

  3. Oh, this makes me miss L.A.! I know you're probably missing cooler weather, but here in Seattle, I'm just jealous. Enjoy so I can live vicariously! 🙂 Personally, I love the leopard with the polkadots. It shows a little sass without being over the top. Thanks for posting!!! ~Sarah

  4. I don't think the leopard belt is too much…since it is a smaller accessory. 🙂 And I agree, I keep thinking that if I wear jeans it's going to cool off…I wasn't looking forward to fall until all the stores starting putting out so many cute fall things…I am now ready! bring on the cooler weather!

  5. I think the leopard print belt is awesome with it! You can never have too many prints!
And I know how you feel about fall- it's been in the 90s here, I can hardly wear clothes at all!
*sigh*, it has to come at some point 🙂

  6. I really like this look with the belt showing! A belt looks like a great way to do some pattern mixing!
