I love scarves. When I was living on the east coast I probably wore one everyday during the fall and winter. Sadly, my chunky scarves don’t get a lot of use now that I live in California so I’ve had to switch to lighter cotton or silk scarves. Even then it’s sometimes too hot to wear them around my neck. So what’s a scarf loving girl to do??
I’ve had to come up with new ways to wear my scarves! In addition to the usual way to style a silk scarf I’m wearing it as a belt and as a handbag accessory! Wearing a silk scarf as a belt or tied to a bag is an easy way to still sport a cute scarf without over heating. All I had to do to turn my silk scarf into a belt was fold it in half to create a big triangle and then roll it up! Super easy!
If you still prefer the usual way to wear a silk scarf check out my post on how to tie a silk scarf three ways. I’m sporting the French Twist in this outfit!
