Things I’ve Been Loving Lately: June 2020
It’s been awhile since I’ve rounded up some of my favorite things so I thought I’d share what I’ve been loving lately!
Else Lingerie
I’m obsessed with this lingerie brand! Else specializes in lacy, feminine lingerie that’s ethically made in Turkey. I’ve posted about them before but this time I’ve actually gotten a chance to wear the pieces around my house so I wanted to give you an update.
I have the Petunia Underwire Bra (seen above), Petunia Soft Cup Bra, and Chloe Underwire Bra (in two colors), along with matching underwear for all the bras. All of the pieces are sooo pretty. The style of the Else bras is non-padded and sheer, which is a style I don’t normally go for since I have a bigger bust, but I’ve found the bras still supportive and comfortable.
I was also able to get the bras for around 50% off during their sales so keep an eye out for those! Else also has a flagship store on Melrose in Los Angeles so if you live in the area definitely check them out!
lilah b. Cleansing Butter + Priming Oil
I’m a fan of ALL the lilah b. products but the Aglow Cleansing Butter and Aglow Priming Oil and two items that add a little luxury to my everyday life. Both smell AMAZING and get the job done. The Cleansing Butter starts as a solid and melts into your skin to remove dirt, oil, and makeup. Then you just rinse off with water to reveal glowing skin.
I use the Aglow Primer everyday because it’s a 3-in-1 product. It acts as a serum, moisturizer, and primer so I don’t have to apply three separate products every day! It starts out kind of sticky but then absorbs into your skin and leaves it super soft. If you want to just try the products out you can buy mini versions!
Everlane Espadrilles
Espadrilles are an iconic summer shoe and a closet staple so I was excited to see Everlane come out with a modern, sleek espadrille. I just got these so I haven’t gotten to wear them out much but so far they are really comfortable. The low heel and the butter soft leather definitely make these a great every day summer shoe.
Rouje Lip + Eye Set
I love all things Rouje and finally got a chance to try out their lipstick, eyeliner and mascara set. Since I can’t get eyelash extensions right now I’ve had to do my eye makeup the “old fashioned way” by curling them and applying mascara. I have the Rouje Lip Palette but I was excited to try “Coralie”- a new vintage red-orange shade in a traditional lipstick. I bought the set + the large pouch to make it feel like a little present to myself during quarantine.
