The Fur Vest

Top: Zara (similar), Vest: H&M, Jeans: American Eagle, Purse: Coach Factory, Earrings: H&M, Nails: Essie Sole Mate, Lips: L’Oreal Divine Wine
I finally found it – the perfect fur vest for me! (Or as my husband calls it, the gorilla vest).  I have to admit that I used to hate this trend.  I saw a fur vest on a friend last year and I thought, “What is she wearing?!” And now I’ve gone over to the dark side.  I had a hard time finding a vest that didn’t make me look like a furry animal had attached itself to my body.  Even though I’m tall I still feel like I have a petite frame (and a small head) so complete fur vests just looked silly on me.  The solution? A half fur vest with a belt!  Now I’m not completely covered in fur and the belt helps to define my waist so it doesn’t look too bulky.  I wore this out to see the new James Bond movie Skyfall so I thought the fur, high heel leather boots and statement earrings would be appropriate.

  1. I am dying for a fur vest! I don't want to get one that costs too much because it is such a 'in the moment' trend. The H&M one looks great!
