With the summer season approaching, now is a good time to start stocking up on cute summer dresses! I practically live in dresses in the summer. It’s just so easy to throw on one piece of clothing and go! I love that you can just add some cute accessories and your whole outfit is put together.

My go-to shops for summer dresses are my new favorite French brands – Rouje and Musier Paris.

They both have feminine style dresses in the cutest summer prints. And this wrap style dress from Musier Paris is no exception and is the latest addition to my summer dress collection. I loved the gingham jumpsuit so much that I decided to try out one of their dresses.  I was initially worried that it would be too short but I think the length is fine. (I’m 5′ 8″ for reference). But there’s also a midi length version of this dress available! And if you are a fan of polka dots there is a navy dot version too!

And who can forget this cute dress from Rouje?! While Musier Paris has a more limited collection of dresses available right now, Rouje has a variety of dress styles in multiple prints available. I love that most of their dress styles come in longer lengths. Midi lengths are definitely my jam!

If you are concerned about ordering from a French based online shop – don’t be. It’s actually really easy! You just have to make sure you are shopping from the US version of the site (so that the price is in dollars). Shipping is usually around $30 (for both sites) but since you don’t have to pay tax it costs about the same as it would if you were ordering from the states. The good news is that shipping is really fast. I’ve placed 4 orders between both of these sites and gotten them within a few days!

For more affordable summer dresses my favorites are Everlane and H&M

For more minimal dresses, Everlane is my go-to. They have a great selection of simple styles in easy fabrics like cotton, linen, and GoWeave (which is a light, wrinkle free fabric). I have the linen shirtdress and it’s such an great dress to throw on in the summer. Affordable Summer Dresses from Everlane

Shop Everlane Dresses:

For affordable dresses that are on trend I love to shop at H&M. You really can’t beat the prices – especially since they are always having online sales. I just picked up this adorable scalloped midi dress. Two summers ago I picked up this super cute polka dot number. I also have a few maxi dresses that are great for summer travel.

Shop H&M Dresses:

Honorable mentions include: Reformation and Réalization Par. I haven’t picked up dresses from these places yet but I LOVE their selections as well. I love Reformation because they are committed to sustainable practices and Réalization Par makes gorgeous silk dresses. They are a little pricier but worth the investment in my opinion.
