It’s that time of year again to start thinking of your fall wardrobe! I’m starting to take inventory of my fall pieces so that I can plan what I need to be on the lookout for in the next couple of weeks. If you don’t know what pieces make the foundation for a versatile fall wardrobe then I’ve compiled a list of the best fall wardrobe staples to buy for 2023!

The Best Fall Wardrobe Staples

The best fall wardrobe staples are versatile and timeless pieces that are going to come back year after year. I also like to stick to a color theme when picking up basics. For me, that color palette is neutrals. I love tans, creams, blacks, and autumnal shades in general.

Since I consider these pieces closet staples I don’t mind spending a bit more on them. I also prefer to buy these items from ethical and sustainable fashion brands. The idea is quality over quantity. That doesn’t mean you have to go out and buy all of these pieces right away! It’s taken me years to curate a closet full of high quality pieces. And don’t be afraid to look for these items secondhand to find a deal.
