I don’t really know what the difference is between a Texas tuxedo and a Canadian tuxedo if there is one so I googled it and this is what came up:
I’ll admit that I never really liked the look until I started seeing it on a lot of fashion bloggers. Plus it’s just so comfortable and easy to throw on that I don’t care anymore if everyone else thinks its horrible. I tried to jazz up my tuxedo a bit with some leopard and a bright bag. So what do you think? Fashion faux pas or not?
SHOP MY LOOK!
My look is currently sold out but here are a lot of great options to create the perfect Texas (or Canadian) tuxedo! Just click on the pictures to shop!
I think this works better than a lot of Texas Tuxedos I've seen since your shirt is a much lighter shade than your jeans. I'm still not sure I can pull it off myself though. Congrats on 100 followers!
I love the outfit and the shoes are so cute!!! I found your blog through Allie's blog, A Day In A Joyful Life. Congrats on getting 100 followers! Hope you can stop by my blog! I'm a new blogger and would love to see what you think 🙂 Maybe we can follow each other! Have a great day! -Kristen
I haven't tried this look with pants but I do wear double denim with shorts. I like it, you look casual chic in this, I think the aviators help elevate the look.
Ha ha ha, LOVE the Canadian Tuxedo! Love that the definition actually states it's a faux pas. Well, you certainly look fabulous. I think it's definitely a look that could go very wrong, but you (and other bloggers) actually wear chic cuts, so I think that makes a big difference!
I love denim on denim and it looks great on you! Chambray is so easy to outfit (I have this same top) and it works for all season. I love pairing mine with dark denim skinnies and taupe knee high boots…then I add a fun colorful necklace for interest. You look great!

I did the Texas tuxedo earlier this week and it did not go over well with me. Maybe I should try the Canadian tuxedo? Love it on you!

I love the combo, the trick is using different denim colors/washes. Outfit turned out great specially with the shoes and bag you chose.
