Now that it’s *officially* winter, I’ve been reaching for this wool coat and wool scarf combo. I absolutely love how the Tartan Blanket Co. wool scarf adds more interest to this winter outfit. It almost makes me wish for colder weather so I can wear it all the time. Almost.

Tartan Blanket Co. Wool Scarf

I became aware of Tartan Blanket Co. through their collaboration with Courtney from Pretty Little Fawn. I really wasn’t planning on purchasing one but when I saw the designs I couldn’t resist. I immediately fell in love with the Reversible Check Scarf. It has a beautiful warm plaid pattern on the “front” and a lovely green shade on the back. It’s like having two scarves in one! That really sold me on picking up this scarf.

I’m happy to report it’s just as beautiful in person. It’s made from 100% lambswool so it’s super soft. And as you can see it goes perfectly with my camel wool coat! Sadly, I think all of the scarves from the PLF X TBCo collaboration are sold out. But TBCo does sell a ton of other wool scarves. If you are in the market for a quality wool scarf I highly recommend them!

It’s almost like a double outfit post today because I have a gorgeous look underneath my Tartan Blanket Co. wool scarf outfit! I was inspired by the autumnal tones in the scarf and decided to put together a richly colored ensemble.

I paired my maroon velvet pants with a dark floral blouse and suede lace-up boots. The combination of colors and textures makes this the perfect outfit, in my opinion. My exact top and pants are from previous seasons but you can still find similar items now.
