Sézane Niels Shorts Review
I’m not usually a shorts person but recently I’ve decided to try out a few pairs. (You may remember my recent mom shorts posts). I don’t have a pair of white shorts so I thought I’d try out the Sézane Niels Shorts in this lovely Ecru shade. These are definitely different from the mom shorts I posted earlier. They aren’t a high rise and the inseam is definitely shorter. These remind me more of the shorts I used to wear years ago (low rise short shorts!).
I do think these shorts are cute but they are definitely not my preferred style. I do still like the high rise and longer inseam shorts better. But sometimes it’s nice to have variety in your closet. And these shorts are great for hot weather. I can see my wearing these at the beach! I took my usual size 6 and they fit true to size.
Sézane Pierro Shirt Review
The other “summer whites” piece I picked up is this cute shirt from the G. Kero X Sézane collab! Sézane has released similar shirts like this in the past and I always thought they were so cool! I love the “Many People” print with all the colors and summer scenes. This is their popular Pierro Shirt which they always release in different patterns and fabrics. This version is very lightweight and made from a cotton/silk blend.
The Pierro Shirt is a classic button down that fits true to size. I’m usually a size 4 in Sézane tops but I decided to size up this time. I tend to like my button down shirts a little oversized. I’m wearing the size 6 and I just prefer the larger fit. But you could definitely take your usual size if you want it to be more fitted.
I accessorized with my Sézane Justine bag with the navy leather handles and my red suede sandals. The red, white, and blue combo also makes this a fun 4th of July outfit or holiday look.
