Summer trends you can transition into Fall

Even though summer is officially coming to a close it still feels like summer outside! So I’m sharing some of my favorite summer fashion trends that can still be easily transitioned into fall.

Shopbop denim dresses, Summer Trends

Obviously, I’m a big fan of denim but don’t normally wear it in tops or dresses. I’d definitely like to change that by adding a chic denim dress to my closet. There are a ton of styles to choose from loose to structured. And the sleeveless options are great for transitioning into cooler weather. Just add a long sleeve shirt underneath!

Shopbop loafers

Menswear inspired looks are still popular and the one way I like to incorporate that trend into my outfit is through footwear. The loafer adds that menswear inspired touch in a subtle way plus it’s super comfortable. Wear the open back mule styles in the summer and transition to suede loafers for the fall!

Shopbop Lace Up Tops, Summer trends

Lace up tops add a little bit of 70’s style to any outfit. I love that this style can be worked into casual styles (like the denim top) or dressed up in a silk blouse. Wear the lace up style in a sleeveless linen or chambray top for summer and in a silk, long sleeve blouse for fall.

Shopbop Chokers

Chokers have made a comeback in a big way. The minimalist in me really likes the simplicity of the simple gold bands but if you are feeling a little more boho you could pick one with beads, feathers, or tassels at the end! This trend can obviously be worn year round. But I would go for a more boho style in summer and a sleeker, gold style for fall.
