I’m usually drawn to more simple, minimalistic looks but for some reason when I saw this tiered-sleeve gingham top in Banana Republic I couldn’t say no. It’s getting harder to shop for clothes now that my bump is getting bigger but this top is non-maternity and actually still fits! I love the large belt that is able to be adjusted and just happens to accent my bump nicely. And I actually think the large tiered sleeves help to balance out the big bow! Not to mention, the gingham print is on trend for spring. If you are looking for a fun, statement top for spring I recommend taking a chance on this top!
I’m excited to be collaborating with Banana Republic on this post for their “What Moves Us” campaign and they’ve asked me to share what moves me! Honestly, it’s really hard to narrow it down to one thing. Obviously, the little babe inside my belly moves me – literally! Feeling him kick and punch is both weird and cool at the same time! And having to make decisions based on a new life about to enter the world definitely moves me to make changes in my life.
But in terms of fashion, the blogging community has definitely moved me the most! I love getting inspiration from all you ladies! Blogging and interacting with you on here and on social media is something I look forward to everyday. It’s honestly kind of weird to think about what my life was like before blogging. I feel like it must have been really boring! Blogging moves me to experiment with new styles, learn new skills, and be more social in general. I’m a shy person so blogging has definitely moved me to step out of my comfort zone…in a good way!
I’d love to hear what moves you in the comments below!

THe bow does a good job at disguising your growing baby bump! 🙂
Thank you for the link up!

That BR top is so cute and touches on so many trends for Spring as do all the pieces in your outfit. Plus, since the top is blue, it is perfect for your “what moves me” post since you are having a sweet boy, Jessica. This post touched me. The blogging community moves me too. In general everyone is so nice and welcoming. =) You are a doll!
Also, your style is always very pretty and inspiring, that is why I’d love for you to join my new Thursday Moda linkup this week and on Thursdays. Come share more of your pretty looks on my linkup, Jess. Thanks and have the best weekend!

You are very welcome! Enjoy your Easter weekend!
Your top is very pretty. I can’t believe your belly bump is that big now. I feel it was yesterday when you anounced you were pregnant!!

Thanks so much Abril! I know – I can’t believe my belly is this big either! But I’m happy to keep gaining weight as long as I don’t have to deal with morning sickness!

A baby definitely moves you, even when you see other people’s babies as you know how it feels if they get hurt or something happens to them. You develop this instinct you never knew had. You look lovely! I’d love for you to connect and link up at http://the-wardrobe-stylist.com/2017/04/09/fashion-gifts-for-mothers-day/
I love love love that top! The pop of red is perfect and that clutch purse is so cute. I’d probably say trying to show my girls how to love themselves is what moves me the most! In and of itself means I need to love myself and have a positive self image for them to see they can have the same for themselves!

Thanks so much for sharing, Ruth! It’s definitely important to take care for yourself so your girls learn how to do the same. Love it!
I love the top, the sleeves and belt tie are fabulous. The red sandals really pop against the blue and white. You’re having a very stylish pregnancy! I wish I’d found such nice clothes when I was pregnant – I think I lived in sweater dresses when I got bigger.

Thanks so much Emma! That means a lot to me. I definitely understand the struggle of trying to find clothes that work during pregnancy. When I’m just at home by myself you’ll usually just find me in pajamas though…haha
