SPRING Wishlist: What I’m Loving and Buying
The change of seasons always makes me want to shop. I’m trying to be more mindful of what I’m adding to my closet so usually I buy less but spend more on each item. I’m sharing what I’ve picked up so far and what I still would love to buy.
What I’m Loving This Spring
Straw Basket Bag w/Leather Details:
The “IT” basket bag right now is this one from Loewe. I LOVE the leather details and adjustable handle strap. However, it is about $500 which is more than I would like to spend on a basket bag. I did find a very similar basket bag with leather handles on Etsy at a more affordable price of $75. I’m really considering getting it!
Linen Cottagecore Style Dress:
I can’t stop myself from buying these smocked, puff sleeve beauties. Reformation always has a ton of gorgeous dresses to choose from every season and I’m torn between this style and this style.
Linen Trousers:
These linen trousers from Rouje just look SO. CHIC. I can imagine myself lounging on the French Riviera wearing these pants.
Christy Dawn Dress:
I have one dress from Christy Dawn and I would like to add more to my closet! Christy Dawn is an actual slow fashion and ethical brand that I’ve been wanting to support more. I’m just waiting for the right style. This white one is so pretty!
Sporty Sandals:
I’m kind of obsessed with this style sandal because they are so comfortable. Last year I picked up a similar style in black from Everlane and I love them. This pair is made by the ethical shoe brand Nisolo and I love the light tan leather.
Woven Sandals:
I actually don’t have a pair of woven sandals in my closet and I feel like this is a very versatile summer shoe. These are also from Nisolo.
What I’m Buying this Spring
Straw Hat with Ties:
I actually just bought this hat because I loved the tie detail and it was on major sale. I LOVE it and it looks amazing with all my summer dresses and tops.
Reversible Linen Dress:
I’ve had my eye on an AULIEUDE dress for awhile and finally decided to make the purchase. I love that this dress is reversible and can be worn several ways. It also looks similar to this Reformation dress that I had my eye on. AULIEUDE is a sustainable linen brand so I’m happy to support a smaller brand instead of Reformation.
Embroidered Cotton Blouse:
This looked like an easy, breezy top for summer that will look great with a pair of jeans and a straw hat. I’m lucky enough to be partnering with Sézane to try out their Spring pieces and this is one of the items that I picked out.
Puff Sleeve Linen Dress:
This is another dress that I’ve had my eye on for awhile. I loved the square neck and the puff sleeves. Rachel Pally is another Los Angeles brand that I love because many of the pieces work for pregnancy and beyond. You can see me style this dress in this post!
