Spring Shoe Trends + Shopbop Sale!
*This post is in collaboration with Shopbop but all opinions are my own
Since I live in California, my shoe closet is mostly filled with sandals – and I’m not mad about it! There are so many fun styles out right now that I’m tempted to add even more to my collection. Below are my favorite Spring Shoe Trends. You might even notice that a lot of the styles combine elements from several trends!
And the GREAT news is, a lot of these styles are on sale now during Shopbop’s SALE! See below for more details!
Spring Shoe Trends
Sculptural Heels
One of the coolest trends going on right now is the sculptural heel. As an art fan, I’m really digging the unique heels. They do remind me of modern sculptural art!
I also love that you can find these uniquely heeled sandals at all heel heights and price points. I love the high end Jacquemus heels but they are a little out of my price range. Cult Gaia is another one of my favorite brands with interesting heels. Zara has a lot of fun and affordable styles right now like these Geometric Heel Slingbacks, Round Heel Sandals, and Geometric Heel Mules.
I don’t have a pair of these in my collection yet but reallly want to get a pair soon. I have my eye on the Zara pair below!

Block Heel Sandals
Block heel sandals are my go-to everyday shoe in the summer. The sturdier heel is just so much more comfortable, in my opinion. They also tend to be at a more manageable heel heigh (I prefer 2-3 inch heels).
I actually have the Miista Slingback and Marais Sandal you see below. I’m so excited to wear them with all my spring and summer outfits!

Tortoiseshell Sandals
I’ve been a fan of tortoiseshell accessories for awhile and I’m glad to see the material making it’s way into shoes! I wanted a pair last year but didn’t see too many options I liked. This year is a different story and I’m seeing a ton of great pairs! These sandals give me lots of safari-chic vibes. I imagine myself wearing them on vacation with neutral linen pieces (like this jumpsuit).
My favorite is the Cult Gaia pair you see below. It’s a little pricey so I decided to opt for the Zara pair. My foot is narrow and tends to do better with sandals that have straps so that it stays on my foot, which is another reason I chose the Zara option. You’ll notice that the Cult Gaia pair and the Zara pair have a sculptural heel and block heel respectively. It’s double the trends in one!

Square Toe Sandals
I’m obsessed with square toe shoes and want all my sandals to have square toes now! Maybe it’s because I grew up in the 90’s and my first pair of dress shoes was a strappy pair from Nine West – so it makes me feel nostalgic!
My favorite square toe sandals are from By Far. They are a little pricey so I’m saving up for the right pair (like I said – I need straps around the heels so they stay on my feet). If you are looking for more affordable options, Zara has several square toe sandals right now. I bought the white, strappy sandals you see below and I love them!

Transparent Sandals
I love the leg lengthening effect that transparent shoes give off. Plus, they pretty much go with any outfit because they are clear and neutral.
Once again, Zara is killing it with their vinyl shoe options. However, my favorite is still the Cult Gaia pair that is actually the same style as the tortoiseshell version above.

I think the sculptural heels are so cool and I’m happy that block heels are in too. They’re just more comfortable than the thinner heels. You have a bunch of great pics.

Yes! Always love a good sale 🙂
I cannot get on board with the 90s trend of square toes, but I do love block heels!
Lol…that’s so funny because the square toe is probably my favorite out of the bunch! Block heels are my go-to though because they are so comfortable!
Oh my word, those red plaid ones! I am in love!

Thanks! The gingham heels are definitely one of my favs now 🙂
I love Shopbop especially when they have their amazing sales! These sandals are all so pretty and I agree I am happy to see tortoise shell sandals make a come back. So fun! I wouldn’t mind owning a sandal though with a unique heel, I bet that’s a good conversational starter!

Yes! I love a good sale! I definitely want to add a fun heeled sandal to my collection. There are so many interesting ones out right now!
Those are all amazing styles, the block heel is probably my favourite, it looks so chic and it’s so comfortable. I’d love to try the sculptural heel one, it seems so interesting and unique. And square toes seems so early 2000’s but I’m willing to try it, trends come back all the time.

I have a ton of block heel sandals because they are so comfortable! I didn’t realize that a lot of people were averse to the square to trend…haha. It’s one of my favorites but maybe it’s because I wasn’t up to date on trends back in the early 2000’s so I don’t really remember the square toe sandals.
