Smudge-Proof, Kiss-Proof Lipstick + Linkup!

I LOVE a bold lip. It’s an instant mood booster and it adds a “je ne sais quoi” to any outfit. But I HATE how I always have to re-apply the color throughout the day because fading is more noticeable when you are wearing a bolder lip color. I also have to worry about it accidentally rubbing off on my clothes (or the baby when I give him kisses!).

I’m excited to introduce you to LipSense!  You might have seen or heard about LipSense on social media. I first heard about it through Instagram and I definitely thought it was too good to be true because it’s a lipstick that DOESN’T RUB OFF – like at all! So when Kaila from Katie Sue and LipStick Too approached me and asked if I would review it I said yes! And it turns out it’s true – there’s no need to re-apply color throughout the day with LipSense. You can give all the kisses you want and it won’t rub off!

LipSense is a little different than regular lip colors because it is lead and wax free and requires a certain application technique (which I describe below). It is also FDA approved and made in the USA! So just because it has almost magical, smudge-proof abilities doesn’t mean it’s unsafe or bad for you! Using LipSense products can actually help improve the condition of your lips because of the moisturizing gloss you apply as part of the process.

HOW TO APPLY:

1). Start with clean, dry lips. Shake the LipSense liquid lip color well and apply a thin layer in one direction (do not go back and forth like you would with regular lipstick).
2) Let the layer dry and then apply two more layers (let the layers dry before you apply another layer and keep lips apart).
3) After the third layer you can apply the gloss and rub your lips together!

Each lip color is $25 and lasts a long time. The gloss is $20 and the lip color remover is $10. So a starter kit like the one above is $55. I’m wearing the Blu-Red color with the Moisturizing Gloss.
