Sézane Johnson Coat and Angie Jumper Review
*Items gifted by Sézane but all opinions are my own!
You guys KNOW I’m obsessed with the French fashion brand, Sézane. I think at this point literally half my closet is made up of Sézane pieces! And since I’m living on the east coast now I can finally take advantage of all the winter pieces Sézane has to offer. So in today’s post I’m reviewing the Sézane Johnson Coat and Angie Jumper!
Sézane Johnson Coat Review
The Johnson Coat is one of Sézane’s Essential pieces – A French winter closet staple! This coat is in stock every year in different colors. It’s a mid-length coat with a straight cut, tailored collar, two piped front pockets, and double-breasted closure. It’s lined and has a slit in the back as well.

Like I said, this coat is available in a variety of colors each year. I decided to go with the Grey version because I loved the woven texture and that it was 100% virgin wool. The other colors are made of a mix of wool and polyamide.
I do feel like this coat keeps me warm. It’s not super cold here yet (40’s to 50’s) but so far this coat has worked out well. When it gets chillier I will definitely need a scarf to fill in the empty space on my chest!
I’m wearing the size 4 which is my usual Sézane size. I do think that it fits true to size, although I would size up if you are more broad shoulder or have a larger arms/chest. When I wear thick chunky sweaters with this coat it is a little tight around my shoulders/arms. I don’t think I could have gone up a size because then if would have looked too big around my body. The Angie Jumper that I’m wearing with this coat feels fine though. All that to say, I definitely wouldn’t size down in this style.
Angie Jumper Review
I also love that I’m able to wear more sweaters now because Sézane makes AMAZING sweaters (or jumpers). My Sézane sweaters are some of my favorites in my closet. I was drawn to the Angie Jumper because of the gorgeous open knitwork on the front and high neck. I also thought those details would look great under a blazer or coat. I also loved that there are buttons all the way down the front so I can wear it as a cardigan if I want!

This sweater is a mix of Kid Mohair, Wool, Polyamide, and Elastane. As you can see, it’s pretty fuzzy! It has a nice soft, plush feel without being too heavy. Even though this sweater contains wool, I don’t find it to be really itchy. I’m somewhat sensitive to wool fabrics but I’m not bothered by this. I am wearing a nude undershirt so that definitely helps.
I’m wearing the size small, which is my usual size, and I found it runs true to size. For comparison, I also bought the Camille Jumper in size small but that sweater was larger in the body and just looked a little too larger. I much prefer the fit of the Angie Jumper. Sadly, it looks like it’s sold out in all available colors BUT I’m hoping they restock it!
