Usually you’ll find me in jeans and a sweater during the winter months but I thought I’d switch it up with a skirt today! Skirts aren’t just for summer months. I love a skirt with a print that’s versatile enough to wear all year round and the Sézane Alicia Skirt fits the bill.
Sézane Alicia Skirt
Confession: I bought this skirt awhile ago in a size 4 but it ended up being slightly too small. I missed the window of returns so I was stuck with it. But I loved this skirt so much that I bought it again in a size 6! Now it’s just the right size. It really is a gorgeous skirt and I love that the print is versatile enough to wear all year round.
The Sézane Alicia skirt is usually available year round in different prints. It does run slightly small. I’m usually a size 4 (and I could squeeze into it) but the size 6 was more comfortable. Overall, I really like the fit of the Alicia skirt. It has a pleats and a side slit which give the skirt nice movement.
How to Style the Sézane Alicia Skirt
I’m styling it for fall/winter in today’s post but you can see more styling options with this skirt in my YouTube video!
For this outfit iteration I decided to go with an (mostly) all black look by pairing this skirt with the Palma silk camisole, Sézane tights, and black booties. The Palma tank is the perfect tank to wear with skirts or layer under shirts and cardigans and a closet staple, in my opinion. I was pleasantly surprised with Sézane’s tights too. They have a great feel and provide the right amount of coverage. I’m wearing the size medium.
Jenni Kayne Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan
Another closet staple is the Jenni Kayne Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan. Yes, it’s an investment – but the cashmere is SUPER soft and it’s a a piece you’ll want to wear 24/7. I have a full review of the Jenni Kayne cardigan HERE. For this outfit, I like how the light cashmere cardigan softens up the all black look.
