Well, it’s been quite the week, guys. It all started on Sunday when my husband and I hit a gas line in the wall while trying to hang some shelves in the nursery! We could hear it leaking out fast and it smelled like gas too. I’m just sooo thankful that it didn’t blow up. I’ve heard horror stories about that. Yikes! So we opened windows and ran out of the apartment to wait for the gas company to show up and turn it off. Unfortunately, we had no idea where the gas shut off was since we just rent and we couldn’t get a hold of our apartment manager.
Anyway, the gas was shut off and the apartment didn’t explode. BUT it was actually the gas line to our neighbors apartment so the gas shut off affected them and not us. So of course we felt even worse! We had to wait about three days for a plumber to come and fix the gas pipe. That also means that he came in and knocked a bunch of holes in our walls. The leak is in the upstairs second bedroom so that wall is a mess. But the plumber also knocked out spots in our kitchen wall and ceiling looking for the rest of the pipe. So unfortunately, our kitchen is now a mess too. Just what we need a week before baby is due!
But like I said, everyone is ok and we didn’t blow up so I’m super thankful!
Now on to the outfit! I’m excited to share another #OldNavyStyle look for summer. This dress happens to be non-maternity! I love it when I find dresses that work with the bump! This outfit is very similar to one of my other black and white Old Navy looks. I kept the accessories the same and just switched out the black dress for this flowy, white swing dress! I also added a belt to help accentuate my waist. I love that this outfit totally works if you aren’t pregnant too!

Now onto Flashback Fashion Fridays! Here’s a look from last June! Oh my gosh…look how skinny I just to be! I’m totally ok with all the weight I’ve gained during pregnancy (about 40 pounds so far!). I would much rather be able to eat and gain weight than be sick and throwing up. The crazy thing about taking pictures of yourself almost everyday for five years is that you have a record of ALL the body changes.
Our picks from last week link up are Lizzie from Lizzie in Lace and Amy Ann from Straight A Style!

Adri and I would love for you to link up your fashion posts for a chance to be featured next week!

Oh no, how horrible about the gas pipe! it’s good it wasn’t more serious, but that will not be fun to get repaired before baby arrives, eek!

Oh wow! I’ve never heard of a gas line in a wall before, how awful that happened. Glad everyone is ok. LOVE this dress! It is gorgeous!
Glad you’re all ok! I didn’t realise you only have a week to go! My daughter came a month early just after we’d moved house and we were gutting it, so we had a very messy house and a premature baby to deal with! I hope you get your place all sorted before the little one makes an appearance. I love your white dress, it looks fab with the denim jacket and fabric clutch.
