Red, White and Blue

I’m so excited to be teaming up with Miriam from Simply x Classic to show you our Red, White and Blue looks in honor of the 4th of July!

If you haven’t checked out Miriam’s blog you need to do it NOW! Seriously, I want her entire closet! Like her blog name suggests she has a classic, feminine, J.Crew-esque style that I just love.  Oh – and she’s pregnant! I’m really enjoying watching her style her growing baby bump! Stop by Simple x Classic to see the rest of her Red, White and Blue look!

Blazer: Target, Shirt: Forever 21 (old)(navy option), Jeans: American Eagle, Sandals: Payless, Bag: Thrifted (similar – check in store), Bracelet: J.Crew Factory (50% off!), Necklaces: Borrowed from my mom! (gold links w/blue stones option)
While Miriam’s outfit is a little more dressed up and classic take on red, white and blue I decided to go more casual.  I tried for a more subtle red, white and blue color scheme.  The blazer has light blue stripes and of course my jeans are blue! And I don’t know if you can tell from the pictures but the red color is a little more of a rusty red. I didn’t bring my whole jewelry box with me on vacation so I went into my Mom’s jewelry box to find the perfect gold chain with navy blue enamel – Perfect! Thanks Mom!

I hope you enjoy both of these looks and have a fun 4th of July!

  1. Now, see, this is how good holiday-themed outfits are done – cute but not in your face with 'it's a holiday with these colors!!' More subtle, less saturate. I like it. 🙂

  2. Hey love how you mix white, blue & red together in this outfit. Love your blog and your style ladies. Will definitely be hanging around. We will be thrilled if you drop by our blog too! Keep in touch!
