The Perfect Summer Date Night Dress

This dress deserves all the heart eyes because it’s really that good. I’d had my eye on it for at least a year but never pulled the trigger because it is a little pricier. One of my favorite bloggers also has this dress and I didn’t want to feel like I was copying her (because I already have a lot of the same pieces in my closet…haha). But after ordering and loving the leopard Réalisation Par skirt I knew that I would love this dress too.  I bought it during one of their 25% off sales so while it was still a little bit of a splurge, I did get a better deal on it.

Réalisation Par “The Violette” Dress

I love this Réalisation Par dress for many reasons but the biggest is the color and print. The print is simple, yet feminine and the green shade is my absolute favorite (it also comes in a beautiful light blue color)! Green is probably one of my favorite colors to wear so I have a hard time resisting it. But I also love the wrap style of the dress and that it has long sleeves. This is a true wrap dress (unlike the Gabin dress I’ve worn in other posts). That means it’s definitely more adjustable. And the long sleeves make it perfect for cooler summer nights. It is all silk which means it’s breathable and flowy. As you can see, it’s a little wrinkled in my photos…haha. I tired to iron it but I really could have used a steamer. I need to get one asap! I think Réalisation Par pieces run a little small so size up if you are unsure. I wear a size small is the dress and skirt I have from them.

I decided to style the dress simply with my mini Clare V. bag, strappy heels, and gold jewelry. You may have noticed that I wore these exact accessories in all my outfits from the trip (here, here, and here). I try to pack light and these pieces are all so versatile!

As you can probably tell, these photos were taken at The Langham during our little staycation. It was the perfect opportunity to wear all my fancy dresses because we were kid free and able to go on several fancy date night dinners!

  1. Hey! I just loved this Midi dress. this is so beautiful and you are looking so pretty in this outfit. I’m a fashion freak and I would love to wear this dress with my medusa piercing jewelry. In these days Medusa piercing is a Huge trend. Thanks for the lovely post.

  2. This is a beautiful dress! The color is stunning and wrap style items are such classics! Your shoes and bag are perfect accessories to complement this beauty. Hehe I know what you mean about wearing all the fancy dresses during kid free getaways! I used to wear a lot more dresses pre-kid. Nowadays it harder to because it’s always so awkward when you have to bend down or run after a pair of fast little legs. I hope you are having a fabulous weekend and happy Sunday!
