I usually like to carry around smaller crossbody bags but sometimes you need a bag that will carry a lot of “stuff”. Especially in the summer – I have my sunglasses, water bottle, sunscreen, scarf (for chilly rooms), wallet, the list goes on! So I realized I need to add a hobo bag to my collection. I just picked up the Rebecca Minkoff Bryn Double Zip Hobo which is sadly sold out on Shopbop* but there are a lot of other great options!
A knit tank seems like a contradiction but they are actually work for summer! Just look for one with an larger open knit so it breathes. Cropped lengths or high side slits also work to let more air in. I’m loving the fun tassel option above!
Speaking of tassels…
Tassels are definitely trending right now. And for good reason – it gives off a fun, boho, summery vibe! And luckily you can find tassels on pretty much everything and at all price points. Accessories area great way to add tassels to your outfit – especially if you are afraid of commitment. They can be easily switched out if you change your mind. I recently picked up a black tassel clutch like the one above!
Maybe this isn’t a trend but more of a closet staple. When I think of aviator sunglasses I think of Ray-bans. I’ll admit – I’ve been reluctant to spend more than $10 on a pair of sunglasses since I feel like I always lose or break them. It wasn’t until I started “borrowing” designer sunglasses through Ditto that I realized it might be worth it. They definitely do feel better and more sturdy. So I finally bought a pair of the classic Ray-ban aviators!
I’m also a fan of the jumpsuit. I love when I can through on one piece and be done with it! A simple black jumpsuit (or romper) is great for going out at night when you don’t feel like wearing a dress. It’s also very easy to accessorize! Chambray or linen jumpsuits are a great option for the day when you want to be cool and casual.
