Project Gravitas
A few weeks ago I was invited to dine with some local bloggers and meet the Project Gravitas team to learn more about their company. I’d never heard of Project Gravitas and after browsing their website I was really excited to hear more about them.
Project Gravitas specializes in classic dresses that will make any women feel like a million bucks. It was founded by Lisa Sun who started Project Gravitas after being told in a professional review that she “lacked gravitas” and should “buy a new dress and wear big jewelry and great shoes”. Of course, having confidence or gravitas goes deeper than what you are wearing but Lisa realized that how you dress can have a big influence on how you present yourself. So she set out to create the perfect dress and Project Gravitas was born.
While the Project Gravitas team was in town they set up a pop up shop at the W Hotel in Beverly Hills and I stopped by to try on some of their dresses. What I love about all of their pieces is that they have shapewear built in! I hate when I buy a new dress and then realize I don’t have the proper undergarments to make me look my best. Even for someone skinny like me I still like shapewear to smooth everything out and keep everything tight!
Above are a few of my favorites. The Katherine fit me perfectly! I also like The Hedy and The Lucille
Love the crop top illusion of The Clara
I think my favorite pieces from Project Gravitas are the Josephine cape and the Marie vest. These pieces instantly make any outfit look amazing! I’ve seen and tried both of these pieces on in person and they are so well made and definitely worth the investment. These pieces are classy and trendy at the same time and will be a staple in any closet!
Project Gravitas literally has a dress to fit any shape! Check out the chart below to get an idea of what might work for you.
I also have to mention that the Project Gravitas team is so sweet and generous. I had a great time talking with them at the dinner at Del Frisco’s Grille in Santa Monica. I also got the chance to catch up with Carly who helped organize the event and meet bloggers Andrea, Erin, Romy and Stacy who were down at my end of the table!
