I’m not in Pennsylvania any more! I left just in time to miss all the snow that should be there by now, thank goodness! I’m in Florida with my husband and his family for a little vacation. Today will be our second day at Disney. Yesterday was really long and tiring so I hope I can actually enjoy the day today. It started with getting up at 3am to catch a plane at 6am. Then we went straight from the airport to Epcot and spent the whole day there. It also rained most of the time. I was cold, wet and tired the whole day. I’m kind of a wuss when it comes to rain and not getting enough sleep. But hopefully today will be better! You can follow me on Instagram to see how the rest of the trip goes.
Now to the outfit (which was taken before I left). I got some inspiration from Brooklyn Blonde for this one. It’s been pretty cold so I’m trying to layer as much as possible. I guess I should be wearing closed toed booties then right? But I couldn’t resist wearing this new pair I picked up at DSW on clearance! They are actually pretty comfortable and the leather feels really soft on my feet. They are similar to these booties from Sole Society but for half the price.
I have to give a shout out to my mom who has been my photographer while my husband has been working all day at the farm. I think she did a really good job!
You all know that I like to find deals and try to stick to a budget. Most of the time I don’t spend a lot of money on a single item. But I do make an exception for quality leather items like bags and boots. Case in point: I recently bought the Coach Willis bag. I know it’s something that will stand the test of time so I look at it as an investment.
Which is why I’m excited to introduce you to Skinny Bags new line of crossbody bags! This new line is made of a soft lambskin with a calf suede lining, leather strap and golden metal chain. I love crossbody bags because it means you can keep your hands free!
Skinny Bags was launched in August 2013 by a young married couple from Los Angeles with a background in fashion. It was their goal to produce fashionable, high quality bags that were made in the USA.
So if you are looking for a quality leather handbag consider Skinny Bags. They are produced in the USA so you would be supporting the local economy. And now you can customize your own Skinny Bag clutch or crossbody bag! Perfect for making your own unique statement!
One more thing – Are you a college student or know someone who is? Then check out this post on how you can save money by renting textbooks! OR you can make some extra cash by renting out books you already own! That’s extra cash you can use for shopping -err- paying back those student loans!
