I used to stay away from pale colors – especially pink – because it was so close to my skin color.  But I just love this shade so much that I decided to wear it anyway! To break up all the paleness I added a bold statement necklace and dark lips.
It’s kind of a confusing time in California.  The weather still says summer but there’s Halloween decorations in stores and pumpkin spice lattes everywhere! How am I supposed to dress?! That’s where lightweight sweaters like this one save the day! It feels more “fall” but doesn’t make me super hot!

  1. I love pastels, and it's really become more acceptable to wear them year round, so I have no issue with this as a fall look. Plus, it's really pretty.

(also, side question, what size of the ON windowpane dress did you get, and do you feel totally exposed if you lift your arms up in it? because I just got mine in a small yesterday and I'm like 5 inches shorter than you and I felt like that was going on.)

  2. I absolutely love these soft colors on you! I used to shy away from pale colors such as dusty grey and nude as well, but over this summer I've realized that they actually work suite well with my fair skintone 🙂 Oh, and I LOVE your necklace! xo
