I used to be afraid of oversized or boxy sweaters. I had this idea that everything needed to be form fitting to show off my figure or it would overwhelm me. But then I decided to just have fun with fashion and try new things! Honestly, it’s much more comfortable to wear a big, boxy sweater than to wear tight knits all the time!

These two sweaters from Tobi fit the bill for style and comfort. I love the unique ribbed detail and the extra long sleeves of the cream sweater. The second sweater is slightly cropped and has fun bell sleeves. I also used to think that if I was wearing a big sweater I should pair it with skinny jeans. But I’m breaking all the rules today and decided to pair them with cropped boyfriend jeans. I added a pair of higher heeled boots elevate the look (both literally and figuratively) and a fur bag to match the overall cozy vibe.

I guess the moral of this story is don’t be afraid to try new things and be comfortable!

  1. You look great with both outfits! The sweater and long sleeve shirt does not look boxy on you at all. Now can we talk about your faux fur bag?! 😀 How cute is that! Btw, kudos to trying something out of your normal thing. I need to do that. I don’t like tight clothing much so I tend to go after clothes with more breathing room. Eventually perhaps I’ll break all the rules too?
