First we’d like to say thanks for supporting us by coming back to visit! We started this blog over the summer and have had so much fun getting to know you guys!
I (Jessica) thought I’d share with you a few of my resolutions this year. I usually don’t make resolutions because it seems like such a fad and I just forget about them a couple months (or weeks!) in. But since this blog is public I thought it might keep me more accountable and I can check back next year to see if I stuck with it!
1) Be Healthier: Like everyone else I’d like to stick with healthier foods (more fruits and veggies!) and exercise more. My goal is to exercise at least three days a week. I do a little P90X and run about 3 miles at a time but I’d like to do it more consistently.
2) Practice Clarinet More! – I have my Master’s degree in Clarinet Performance but sadly I’ve kind of given it up since I moved out to California.
3) Be More Thoughtful: I love to get cards from people (like during the holidays) but I’m really bad at sending them out. I also like the “art” of card making so I’d like to pick it up as a hobby and send notes/cards to people throughout the year. Even just to say “I’m thinking of you!”.
4) Have a Closer Walk with God: I have to admit that I don’t spend a lot (or any) quiet time with God. I go to church but it’s not as personal as studying or praying on my own. So I’d like to do more of that!
