The power is back on! Thank goodness! It’s a blogger’s nightmare to be without internet and power to charge your devices…haha. Although it is storming again as I write this and I’m really hoping I can finish this post!

I’m not really a neon person but I can take it in small doses. And these polka dot, scalloped pocket shorts were just too cute to pass up! I’ve been waiting for them to go on sale all summer and finally got these on sale plus 50% off in store! I love a good deal!
And speaking of good deals – I just scoured this History + Industry necklace on sale too! I first found out about this Brooklyn based designer, Irene Wood’s jewelry line through blogging. I fell in love with these mixed material, handmade statement pieces. Normally the price point is a little (ok, a lot) out of my range but with the right sale I was able to pick this up for $50! It’s definitely worth it for such a unique piece. And right now there are a bunch of amazing items on sale for under $50!
