Let’s talk tulle! I’m sure you’ve seen this cream tulle midi skirt that I wear all the time! But the first tulle skirt I fell in love with was this one from Shabby Apple. I just couldn’t justify spending $80 for it – especially since I wasn’t sure I would be able to wear it a lot. So I asked my mom to make one for me! I’m so lucky that my mom knows how to sew! She always made our Halloween costumes and she even made a prom dress for me! So I knew she could handle this skirt. She actually made it for me last Christmas but this is the first time I’ve worn it! I don’t know what took me so long! I just needed the right event to wear it to and I felt that a date night to the LA Phil would be the perfect opportunity. It was just so fun to wear. I highly recommend a tulle skirt for the holiday season! So thanks Mom! You’re the best!
This company was started in August 2013 by a young married couple from Los Angeles, California with a background in fashion. This fashion minded couple wanted to create a high quality product that would also support the local economy and Skinny Bags was born! Each bag is made from high quality leather from California and produced in the US. Skinny Bags just made it’s debut this year at LA Fashion week and is quickly gaining momentum!
I think the “My Diary” and “Holy Bible” clutches are very appropriate considering how much our purses mean to us! And guess what?! You could win one of these beauties! Skinny Bags is holding a GIVEAWAY on their blog right now for a chance to win the purple “My Diary” leather clutch. It’s a retail value of $349.99 so it’s definitely worth entering!
