I’m a huge fan of NAADAM pieces and I’ve mentioned them many times on the blog already. I swear by their lightweight tank dresses in the summer (which I’ve worn 9 months pregnant AND when I’m not pregnant). So I was excited to add this long sleeve version to my closet!
NAADAM Dress Review
This dress is a blend of 85% silk and 15% cashmere which makes it very soft, slinky, and light. It’s so lightweight that it’s slightly sheer. Even though it has long sleeves I feel like I could wear this dress in the spring/summer and still not be too hot. That being said, if you live in cooler temps you will probably have to wear layers and tights with this dress so you aren’t too cold.
I would say if you are in between sizes in Naadam pieces to size up. I’m kind of a mix of the XS and Small measurements on their size chart but I always go with a size Small. This dress is stretchy though so it should fit a wide range. Like I mentioned above, I’ve worn their tank dress pregnant and not pregnant and it still fits great!
I’m 5′ 8″ and this dress hits slightly above my ankles so I do feel like it’s pretty long. If you are shorter this dress might be pretty long on you.
How to Style
Overall, I really love this dress. It’s relaxed enough to lounge around in during the day but I also feel like you can dress it up. For this outfit I added snakeskin ankle boots from By Far and my new Reike Nen bag for a more elevated look. I’d also wear this dress with my By Far Croc Embossed Mini Bag (see below) and an oversized wool blazer. You could also layer a chunky cardigan overtop like this one from Everlane and a pair of white booties. This dress is kind of a blank canvas so I feel like the outfit options are endless!
Shop The Outfit
I will say that because this dress is kind of thin and slinky, it’s harder to conceal “imperfections”. I’m wearing spanx underneath but you can still see a little tummy bulge. You also need to wear underwear that won’t show panty lines because it will be obvious in this dress.
In my book, this is another winner from Naadam! If you are looking for a warmer dress then check out their 100% cashmere dress. I have several of their 100% cashmere pieces and they are the softest sweaters I own!
