Since a lot of us will be spending time at home thanks to the #Quarantineof2020, I thought I’d round up some of my favorite places to shop for loungewear! I’ve been spending a lot of time in loungewear recently since having my baby boy in January. During the first couple months postpartum you live in comfy loungewear because you can’t fit in anything else! But it was also important for me to feel fashionable and put together. Hey, if you are going to spend all day at home, you might as well be comfy AND stylish!
I have to admit – my favorite places to shop for loungewear are a bit pricey. But if you are spending all day everyday in your loungewear it might be worthwhile to invest in pieces that make you feel great. Also, a lot of brands are having sales because of the current situation so you may be able to get a great deal now! I’ve also rounded up some more affordable loungewear options if you need to save some money but still want to be comfy!
My Favorite Sleep and Loungewear Brands
NAADAM Ethical Cashmere Loungewear
NAADAM makes some of my favorite cashmere pieces that are not only super comfortable but also ethically made. I have several of their cashmere dresses so I decided to try out their cashmere loungewear because who doesn’t want to lounge around in head to toe cashmere all day?? These cashmere joggers and cashmere sweatshirt are my favorite set to lounge around in. They are literally the softest things I’ve ever worn!
These loungewear pieces are a bit more expensive than your usual sweatpants. BUT they are 100% cashmere in most cases and ethically made. So I feel the investment is worth it if you can afford it. NAADAM does have regular sales though AND some of the pieces are already on sale so you can get a good deal.
I’m wearing a size small in both pieces. I love a cozy, oversized top so take your normal size or size up. I think the bottoms run slightly big so I would size down if you want a tighter fit. They also loosen up over time and start to pill. You’ll want to use a cashmere comb to get rid of the fuzz!
LUNYA Washable Silk
I just discovered LUNYA and I’m OBSESSED. LUNYA makes comfortable, luxurious sleepwear for the modern woman. Their pieces are made of fabrics like washable silk, organic pima cotton, and cozy alpaca wool. I don’t any of their pieces yet but I can’t wait to invest in some!
UPDATE: Since I wrote this post I had the opportunity to partner with Lunya and try out their washable silk set. It’s amazing! It’s so beautiful and soft. You can read my full review here.

I’m most interested in their washable silk pieces because they look so beautiful and luxurious AND because they are durable and washable. I had the opportunity to stop by their pop up shop at The Grove last month to try on their pieces in person and I wasn’t disappointed. The silk pieces are GORGEOUS and so comfortable!
My favorite is the Washable Silk Button Down Pant Set and the Washable Silk Tee Set. I’m also really interested in their silk scrunchies. They are supposed to leave no creases in your hair and they just look so pretty! I’m not usually into scrunchies but I’d make an exception for these!
The silk sets run large. I was able to fit into the XS/S Tee Set even though I’m probably closer to a S/M in other brands. The shirt from the Tee Set was very large – but in a good way!
Hill House Nap Dress
I first saw the Nap Dress taking Instagram by storm last summer. It’s the perfect “dress” to transition from daytime lounging to sleeping. I originally ordered the Ellie Nap Dress in a size small but the straps stretched too much and it kept falling down. So I had to return it. Later on I ordered the Caroline Dress in a size small and it was perfect! The cotton is very light and soft and perfect for sleeping in. The Caroline Dress in white swiss dot is semi-sheer so it’s not great for wearing outside. But Hill House does offer Nap Dresses that are more opaque and appropriate for wearing out. These dresses are breastfeeding and pregnancy friendly because of the stretch and roominess!
These Nap Dresses do sell out rather quickly so keep an eye out for new launches and restocks. I made the mistake of ordering the Ellie Dress on a pre-order and it took FOREVER for it to ship. It’s better to order something that’s in stock.
Jenni Kayne Loungewear
Jenni Kayne is a California lifestyle brand and included in that is some comfy loungewear! I’ll admit – I was influenced by other bloggers I saw on Instagram modeling their loungewear. It looks so comfy and chic! I’d love to try out their cashmere joggers but there are a little pricey. The Eco Sweatpants look just as comfy and are made out of a recycled material which makes them a little more affordable. You can pair them with the Eco Crewneck or Eco Tee. While I don’t think Jenni Kayne is 100% ethical/sustainable, they are working toward sustainable practices and ethical production.
DOEN Sleepwear
DOEN pajamas are at the top of my wish list right now. I love the romantic sleep dresses. They are some styles that are similar to the Nap Dress except these dresses are a little more intricate and also, ethically made. And the price reflects that!
For cooler weather I would choose the Orchid Nightgown. The cotton voile fabric is my favorite material for nightgowns because it’s light and soft. In the summer I would probably choose the Lovisa Nightgown. These dresses are also pregnancy and nursing friendly because of the smocking and roominess!
Sleeper Pajamas
Sleeper makes such fun sleepwear I had to mention it! This brand is for those of you who want whimsy and romanticism in your sleepwear. The great thing about this sleepwear is that it doubles as streetwear – so you CAN wear it out during the day and out at night. I LOVE the feather trimmed sleep sets. And their slip dresses are stunning!
PrintFresh Pajamas
PrintFresh makes bright and whimsical pajamas that are designed in Philadelphia and ethically produced in India. I’m usually a fan of neutrals but I can’t help but fall in love with these fun prints! I came soooo close to buying a pair over the holidays. These are definitely on my list to purchase this year!
Affordable Loungewear
Lou & Grey
I bought a pair of wool joggers from Lou & Grey during my first month of postpartum and they are super comfy! They aren’t as soft as my NAADAM cashmere pair but I still love lounging around in them. Lou & Grey has a Signaturesoft collection which includes different styles of comfy basics. I love a cute matching set and these Plush Upstate Sweatpants look sooo comfy and come in lots of colors with matching sweatshirt.
Everlane
You know that Everlane is one of my favorite places to shop affordable and ethical clothes. They don’t have a ton of loungewear options available right now but they do have their ReNew line of sweatshirts which are made of recycled water bottles. I’m also a big fan of their leggings – which are technically active wear but I still wear them all day around the house! You can read my review of the Everlane Leggings here!
Keep your eye out this month because Everlane is launching new sweatsuits!
Dwell & Slumber
I LOVE Dwell & Slumber caftan dresses during pregnancy and postpartum. But you can totally wear them if you aren’t pregnant! There are lots of different prints and a few different styles to choose from. I love that you can wear these to bed but also dress them up to wear out during the day. Seriously, you won’t want to take this dress off! I have three different styles and I wear them to lounge in, sleep in, and run errands in!
Uniqlo
Uniqlo has a lot of cute and comfy loungewear options at really affordable prices! I picked up a pair of their sweatpants during my postpartum stage and they are super comfy!
A chic loungewear is a must these days! It makes feeling put together so much easier. There’s a couple of brands you mentioned that I haven’t heard of but I do love Lou & Grey as well as Uniqlo. Lou & Grey pieces are so comfy, cozy and not to mention soft. Swoon! I hope you and your family are staying safe and well. Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

I’ve pretty much been wearing loungewear 24/7! My Uniqlo sweatpants are super soft and affordable so I’d definitely love to pick up more of those! Hope you are staying comfy too!
