Minimalist White Top
First of all, thanks for all the encouragement on Friday. I really appreciate all of your comments! It’s nice to know that I’m not alone in all of this. Second of all, I totally was going to have a post up earlier today but came down with a cold on Sunday so I’ve been really slow getting things together. But better late than never, right!
So here’s the outfit I wore this Saturday to the Simply Stylist blogging workshop at The Grove. I had the chance to hear Brittany from Thrifts and Threads talk about the business of blogging. Most of the info I already knew but it was a nice motivator to get back into the blogging game. If you live in LA makes sure to check out the other blogging workshops they have coming up. I think the next one has to do with social media.
In my opinion, black and white is always chic so I decided to wear this white top and mules with my black skinny jeans. I found this modern, structured top at a store called COS. I’d never heard of COS before until a friend told me about it, so I can’t take credit for the find. If you haven’t heard of COS before, it’s an offshoot of the H&M brand. They offer modern, minimalistic pieces at a slightly higher price point than H&M. I fell in love with the colors and shapes of their pieces. Unfortunately, most items are at least $100. But right now they are having an end of season sale and most items are 50% off so I took the opportunity to pick up a few things. This white top is a bit oversized but I love the shape of the sleeves. I also picked up this front pleated turquoise top. I just feel like the styles are really interesting and unique so I don’t mind spending a little more for them.
