CND VINYLUX Long Wear Polish Manicure

I LOVE to get my nails done. Who doesn’t, right? I really don’t feel put together unless I have nice manicured nails so I try to make it a priority. But with a busy almost one year old boy I just don’t have time to make it to the salon like I used to. So having nail polish at home that gives me the same results as a salon manicure is a must!

That’s why I was so excited to try out CND™ VINYLUX™ Long Wear Polish. It gives the look and long lasting color of a gel manicure without the UV light AND it’s easy to remove with regular nail polish remover. It’s also really easy to apply because of the all-in-one base and color CND™ VINYLUX™ Long Wear Polish. So you can skip the base coat! Follow up with the CND™ VINYLUX™ Long Wear Top Coat for a gel-like finish and you’re done! It’s an easy 2 step process!

So I headed out to my local Rite Aid to check-out the CND™ VINYLUX™ Long Wear Polishes NEW to Rite Aid stores in the Nail Bar or Wall Display. It was really easy to find in the Beauty Section and there were lots of gorgeous shades to choose from. I prefer neutral colors for everyday wear so I picked up a pretty pinkish nude color called “Skin Tease” and a white shade in “Cream Puff”. I also picked up the Long Wear Top Coat. All three polishes cost me under $35 which is less than the cost of a gel manicure at a salon!

The CND™ VINYLUX™ polishes I picked up are perfect for creating a minimalist manicure. I used the nude “Skin Tease” polish on all of my nails and then added two small dots on my thumb with the white “Cream Puff” shade. You can definitely be creative with the nail art design and add a dot on all nails, thin lines across each nail, or create an updated French manicure. At Home Manicure Steps

For my at home manicures I like to set the mood a little bit. I light a candle, set up a nice towel, and make sure I have all of my tools ready to go. First I trim and file my nails and then I’m ready to add at least two coats of the polish. I love the size and shape of the brush on the CND™ VINYLUX™ polish. It makes application really easy!

After I apply the polish, I take a small nail tool and dip it in the white polish to add the two dots to my thumb. I waited a couple minutes for the white polish to dry before I applied the top coat to make sure the nail art wouldn’t smudge. For the final step, I added one coat of the clear top coat. I waited the recommended 8.5 minutes for the polish to dry and then I had a salon worthy manicure!

I’m really impressed with the polish so far. Usually my polish never completely dries so I end up getting tons of smudges. But the CND™ VINYLUX™ polish hardened after the recommended dry time and it hasn’t chipped so far! It’s only been a couple of days so I’m excited to see how long it lasts!

I chose a minimalist manicure because it’s so easy to match with any outfit.

You can wear it with black, white, colors, prints, and everything in between! You can see below how I can wear my neutral nails with a variety of tops in my closet! Since I don’t change up my nail color often, versatility is very important!
