It’s official: I’m a fan of the midi skirt! At first I was a little hesitant about the length. I didn’t want to look like an old lady.  But I think with the right skirt and some heels it can look super cute!
I have to give a big THANK YOU to my best friend Andrea for giving me this skirt that she picked up at a thrift store! It’s one of my new favorites! Since I feel like the length and style of this skirt is more conservative I wanted to show  a little more skin up top. I originally thought I would pair it with a crop top but I just couldn’t find one that I liked.  But since this skirt is high waisted I think it would totally work!
This skirt happens to be from Talbots from who-knows-when but there are a ton of great options on ASOS!

I’m teaming up with some lovely ladies to giveaway a $30 gift card to Forever 21! Don’t forget to enter!

  1. Cute! The silhouette is a little bit 60's, a little bit va-va-voom, which I think makes sure the old lady thing is not a problem. Loved the striped tank + super colorful solid skirt. Now I just need to justify getting one of my own…

  2. Awesome Skirt! My sis and I are also big fans of midi skirts!! I have yet to style one on my blog 🙂 …thanks for the inspiration.

  3. I don't normally like midi skirts (and still won't wear one; I'm just too short to pull it off), but you've made a convert out of me – at least for appreciating them on other people. lol I think it was really smart of you to show a little more on top when covering up so much on the bottom. And I completely agree that a crop top would look great with it!
