lilah b. Beauty + Skincare Review
*I was gifted products to try out but all opinions are my own.
If you are like me, you don’t want a beauty routine that takes forever. I have two young kids now and I can’t spend an hour doing my makeup! Plus, I don’t want to! I recently saw a very popular fashion blogger post about her ‘5 Minute Beauty Routine’ and it included 18 products. 18!! I firmly believe that you only need a couple products to get a beautiful, natural makeup look!
With less, you are more…
That’s where lilah b. comes in. Their beauty line includes simple and clean multi-purpose products that will make you feel great. I love their tagline – “With Less, You are More”. That encompasses what I believe about makeup and beauty. You only need a few good products to let your natural beauty shine through!

About lilah b.
I was recently introduced to lilah b. through a PR package. That was the first time I’d heard about the brand but it turns out it’s a relatively new brand. It was founded by Cheryl Yannotti Foland who moved to California from Manhattan in search of a simpler lifestyle. Cheryl has over 10 years of experience in the beauty industry and she wanted to create a line that reflected the healthy, minimalistic lifestyle she created in California and lilah b. was born!
The first thing I noticed about lilah b. products was the packaging. Their products are in these cute, pebble-like compacts which I think look soooo cool. I love seeing them on my vanity! Lilah b. products are also clean beauty and formulated without gluten, parabens, phthalates, Sulfates, and Synthetic fragrances and are Vegan and Cruelty-free.
lilah b. Clean Beauty and Skincare Products
I haven’t gotten to try ALL the lilah b. products yet but I have tried a lot. So I’m reviewing the products I’ve received so far and hopefully I’ll be able to update it later with even more!
Aglow Cleansing Butter
I actually bought a sample size of the Aglow Cleansing Butter to try out because I loved the other lilah b. products so much. This would be the first product to use from their line to cleanse your skin before makeup application. I use this as part of a “double cleanse” routine. The cleansing butter melts into an oil as you massage it into your dry skin. It does a good job of dissolving makeup. Then I rinse it off with warm water and follow up with a gel cleanser to get rid of any left over residue. You can also use this as a cleansing balm and wipe off with a muslin cloth. This cleansing butter also works as a mask by letting it sit on your skin for a few minutes before you rinse off.
I love the feel and the smell of this butter! It is a solid-like substance in the jar so I’d recommend using a beauty spoon to get it out. But it melts into a lovely oil on your skin that makes cleansing your face a delight! I only have the small trial size jar but I’ll definitely be getting the full size jar when I run out!
Aglow Priming Oil
The Aglow Priming Oil is one of their newer products and it’s a moisturizer, serum, and primer IN ONE! It really is a cool product. If you are someone that can’t be bothered to apply those three products separately, this is a perfect product for you. It contains a variety of oils to nourish and moisturize skin. You can wear this oil alone as a moisturizer or under makeup to prime the skin. It definitely left my skin feeling hydrated and it has a slight tackiness that makes it great as a primer as well. I also love the light lavender scent. Overall, I think this is a great multi-purpose moisturizer.
Aglow Face Mist
I have to admit that I’m not a huge fan of face mists in general but I need to give them more of a try because you can use them for a variety of things. The Aglow Face Mist can be used as a toner to hydrate skin, set makeup, and refresh your face throughout the day. A spritz on your face throughout the day does feel really nice and again, I love the light lavender scent. If you are a fan of face mists it’s definitely one to try out.
Lovingly Lip Tinted Lip Oil
This is my FAVORITE product from their line. I love products that give me a little color on my lips but also hydrate and this Tinted Lip Oil does just that! I love how it feels and the colors are beautiful as well. It’s like a lip gloss but with more pigmentation. It provides light to medium coverage. I would say it’s not super long lasting – you definitely have to reapply throughout the day. It comes in 6 shades and I’ve gotten to try 3 of them so far – b. elegant, b. brilliant, and b. remarkable. My favorite shade is b. elegant because it’s the perfect nude. It’s my go-to everyday shade. I also think the b. brilliant peach color is great for summer days. I originally got the mini duo set as a Christmas gift and I actually like the size of the applicator better. The full size Lip Oils have really large applicator tips which make it a little hard to get a precise application. But that’s my only criticism. I’m hoping to try all the shades soon!
Divine Duo Lip + Cheek
The Divine Duo Lip + Cheek is very multipurpose and can be used as a lip color, blush, and eyeshadow. It feels very creamy and it was easy to apply to my lips and cheeks. The color is very sheer but buildable.
Palette Perfection Eye Quad
I have the b. stunning nude palette and it’s so pretty! These are all the perfect shades for my pale skin. The colors go on pretty light but you can layer for a stronger look or apply wet.
In the above photo I’m wearing the b. stunning Eye Quad on my eyes (the highlight color and the nude color), and the Divine Lip + Cheek in b. true on my cheeks. In the first photo I’m wearing the Divine Lip + Cheek in b. true on my lips, and in the second photo I’m wearing the Lovingly Lip Tinted Lip Oil in b. elegant.
I have all the products on very light in the photos. It’s more noticeable in person. But I could have definitely layered on more shadow and more color on my cheeks. I am really pale though so it doesn’t take a lot of color to show up on my skin. If you have darker skin the colors might not show up as well.
I haven’t yet tried the powder foundation, cream foundation, concealer, tinted lip balm, illuminator, and bronzer – but I hope to soon!
Overall, I love this brand and the message behind it. I’m all about easy, natural beauty + skincare products and the lilah b. line has some great multi-purpose products. Some products are a bit pricey (especially the foundation for the amount that you get). But if you are interested in high quality products in beautiful packaging then lilah b. is for you! You can find lilah b. products online at Sephora, Nordstrom, Net-A-Porter, and other retailers!
