Happy New Year! I hope you had a fun New Year’s Eve! My husband and I stayed at home with my parents and in-laws.  It was quite a party, I tell ya. I didn’t even dress up. What kind of a fashion blogger am I?!
Sweater: Gap (similar), Shirt: J.Crew Factory (similar – 40% off), Vest: Old Navy (similar)(similar), Necklace: J.Crew Factory (similar), Bracelet: J.Crew Factory (similar), Jeans: American Eagle (similar), Bag: Coach Willis, Boots: Bandolino (similar), Lips: L’Oreal Divine Wine
So I don’t have a fun, sparkly outfit to show you today.  Just a layered look for the cold weather. Maybe later I’ll post a “What I Would Have Worn” outfit for New Year’s Eve. Or maybe I’ll just make a New Year’s resolution to be more on top of my New Year’s Eve outfit posts for next year.

It’s really starting to get too cold for my taste out here. Good thing I’m leaving for Florida tomorrow with my husband and his family! I’m ready for 70 degree weather again.  We are spending a few days at Disney World and then it’s back to LA.

Here’s to 2014! I hope it’s a good one!

  1. Well aren't you lucky to be leaving the cold! I'm pretty tried of it myself, my new favorite expression has become "It is too cold for life!"

I love your very practical layered look – sweater, vest, boots, you are doing it right!

  4. Super cute look! Love the layers going on here! Sounds like you had a good NYE! I went to a party, but it was so low-key and relaxed, I might as well have been home! 🙂 Happy New Year!

  5. I am enjoying that green vest very much as well as all of that layering you've got going on there. I need to get better at that layering thing. Goal for the new year, perhaps?
    Done. Thanks for the inspiration!
