It was love at first sight when I saw this dress in store. Even though I’m a fan of modern, minimalist looks, I love a girly dress every once in awhile. Unfortunately, I was 9 months pregnant at the time. I passed it up at first thinking it was silly to buy a dress I couldn’t wear now and might not fit into after I had the baby. But I just couldn’t get it out of my head and when I saw it again I had to buy it. Luckily, it still fits post baby!
Unfortunately, since I bought it months ago, that means it’s no longer available. I did find some cute ladylike dress options here, here, and here though! I feel bad that all my outfits lately are featuring out of stock items that I bought months ago but couldn’t fit into! I don’t like to be a tease…lol.
And if you haven’t noticed, I’m doubling up on the polka dots. You can never have enough, right? I also love the color combo of the mint and mustard. And to complete this granny inspired, ladylike outfit, I added a vintage style crossbody bag and pearl drop earrings.

Most of the time I bought things that still worked for me while I was pregnant so I could wear them right away, but a couple of times my bump grew bigger than I planned and couldn’t wear things until after baby arrived. It happens! 🙂
