Dress: Zara (similar), Shoes: CL by Chinese Laundry via DSW (similar), Purse: Coach Factory, Scarf: Madewell (looks the same but color says “glam pink”), Necklace: Stella and Dot, Bracelets: Stella and Dot Renegade + Eden Bangle, Sunglasses: c/o Firmoo
I debated whether to call this post “Ketchup and Mustard” because of the yellow and red but decided “Lady in Red” was more sophisticated.  My husband thinks I look like a stewardess in this outfit but I feel very lady like.  (Maybe I should just keep these observations to myself because now you probably think I look like a flight attendant that has a thing for condiments.)
Well, no matter what anyone thinks I’m really digging this scarf (that I stalked at Madewell for weeks before it went on sale!) and the big sunglasses.  These are another pair that Firmoo sent me to try out.  But unlike the clear glasses I wore in Monday’s post these are totally in my comfort zone!
(Check out Firmoo.com for a list of glasses first time customers can get for FREE!)

On a random note, since I’m linking up with Shanna, I’ve been steadily growing our collection of house plants.  So far we have a viney type plant (sorry, don’t know the proper name) that sits on our bookshelf, a fiddle leaf fig tree and a succulent.  And someone just gave me an heirloom tomato seedling that I’m going to try to keep alive!  I’m a little worried about this one because I was told it needs lots of light and our apartment gets hardly any (plus I don’t have a yard or really any grass).  I’m thinking about hiding it in the sunny spots around my apartment complex and hoping no one steals it?! What do you think my chances are of actually getting a tomato out of this?

  1. people tend to get hangups on certain style cliches. Like, if you are wearing a square scarf around your neck then you must be a stewardess.

So, you don't, and you look very cute – not like a condiment either!

  2. I think you look great and not like a stewardess at all!
Love the red dress on you and the scarf is a perfect match.
