I Love Olive
I hope everyone had a nice holiday! My husband and I spent the day going back and forth between our two families. It’s a good thing our parents live pretty close to each other! We spend the morning opening presents at my house, go to his house for an extended family lunch, then to my grandparents house for a big family dinner, then back to his house for a small family party! Crazy! I ate lots of food and opened lots of presents!

If you can’t tell, it’s a little cold outside for this living-in-California girl! I don’t like it! I woke up yesterday morning and the ground was covered in snow! Good thing it all melted away by the afternoon. Today I’ll be in Philadelphia with my mom and sister – shopping and eating! My parents live in the middle of nowhere but thank goodness I can still catch the train to the city! I’m sooo excited to do some after Christmas shopping. Pennsylvania doesn’t have sales tax on clothes so it’s a fashion blogger’s dream! So follow me on Instagram for pics of my day in the city!
I’m hoping to find some major things on sale at Madewell. I picked up these cords on sale recently and I wear them non-stop! Even though they are a dark olive color they pretty much go with everything. I’m also debuting my Sole Society booties. I really love all the styles on their site. It’s just a pain not being able to try them on before you buy them! But I think I got the right size. Get 20% off your first order when you sign up!
And thank you to everyone who entered the Blue Nile giveaway! I enjoyed reading how you’d style the bracelet! You can see who won here! If you didn’t win, don’t worry. You can still get 10% off your order with code “BNHH10”! (excludes diamonds)

I love the cords! Madewell is one of my favourite stores, but I typically only get to shop there MAYBE once a year when I visit my friend in New York.
I hope you ended up having a nice time in the city and that your scored some great finds!
