How to Style the Jenni Kayne Leopard Slip Skirt for Fall
I recently picked up the Jenni Kayne Leopard Slip Skirt during their 20% off sale and I can already tell I’m going to be wearing it a ton this fall. It’s the perfect neutral print and can be styled for early fall when it’s warmer and late fall as the weather gets cooler. In today’s post I’ll be styling it for early fall but I’m sure you’ll be seeing it a lot more on here this year!
How to Style the Jenni Kayne Leopard Slip Skirt for Fall
Jenni Kayne Leopard Slip Skirt Review
I honestly don’t know why I waited so long to get this skirt. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the leopard slip dress and literally where it all summer long. So it makes sense that I would love the skirt too. The skirt is actually more versatile, in my opinion, because I can wear it will more tops.
It’s made of the same material as the leopard slip – 100% viscose. Is it overpriced for an unlined, viscose slip skirt? Yes, yes it is. But I still think it’s worth it based on cost-per-wear for me. I also love the leopard print. I’m not usually a leopard print fan (they can be kind of tacky). But I think this leopard print is so well done. You almost can’t tell that it’s a leopard print from far away. It just looks like a nice, neutral pattern. I also love the cut of this skirt. It lays so nicely and has great movement.
I’m wearing the size small which is my usual size in Jenni Kayne!
Jenni Kayne Cotton Fisherman Sweater
I paired the slip skirt with the Jenni Kayne Cotton Fisherman Sweater. This is a great sweater to wear in early fall because it’s 100% cotton and isn’t as warm as a wool or cashmere sweater. I find I can even wear this sweater on cool summer nights. And when the weather gets cooler I’ll swap it out for the Cashmere Fisherman Sweater (which I love too). I’m wearing the size small in oatmeal. FYI I tucked the sweater into my high waisted spanx to keep it in place.
Freda Salvador Juana Slingback Moccasin
I thought the Freda Salvador Juana Slingback Moccasins were the perfect shoe to go with this outfit. I love that they have the look of a loafer but with an open back that’s appropriate for warmer weather. This exact pair is sold out but Freda has a bunch of GORGEOUS and unique shoe options available. I have 4 pairs of Freda shoes now and they are all perfect. They fit so well and have so many cool details that they’ve all become standout shoes in my collection.
Freda recently released their fall collection and I’ll be styling the Elba Penny Loafer and Brooke Boots soon!
