How to Style Series: Fringe Mini Skirt
I’ve had this fringe mini skirt in my closet for a year or two now. It was an impulse purchase – I bought it because it was on major sale and it was real leather! That’s a good enough reason, right? I thought it would be fun to wear on nights out but now I’ve realized that it can actually be a lot more versatile.
I’m starting a “How to Style” series on the blog and I thought this skirt would be a great piece to feature. Since the 70’s trend is still going strong this fringe mini skirt is totally on trend right now.
For my first look I decided to dress it down with a relaxed popover shirt and cargo jacket. This is a look you could totally wear out during the day. The metallic loafers add a little shine to the outfit but are still comfortable enough to run errands in. And now that I’m thinking of it – leopard loafers would look great with this outfit as well!
Next Wednesday I’ll be showing you another outfit featuring this skirt. If you have any suggestions for items you’d like to see me style let me know in the comments or email me: jeansandateacup.com. It could be an trendy item or something basic. I’d love to hear from you!
