Last week I styled this skirt with a lace tee and heels for a feminine look. This time I went with a masculine inspired look with a white button down and bandana. It kind of reminds me of the “one night stand” uniform. You know – you’re out partying the night before in your fringe mini skirt, wake up in some strangers apartment but don’t want to step out in what you were wearing the night before so you throw on one of his button downs (and maybe one of his pocket squares for a little flair) –  No? That’s never happened to me either but I’ve heard stories. Or maybe I’ve just seen too many romantic comedies. I would’ve loved to complete this menswear inspired look with classic black loafers but didn’t have any so I went with my simple black d’Orsay flats.
And so completes the “How to Style a Fringe Mini Skirt” series. I’ve gone casual, feminine, and masculine all with one crazy fringe skirt. I’ve actually styled this skirt in other ways which you can see here, here (wow – that was a long time ago!).
Which has been your favorite look? And if you have any suggestions for my next “How to Style” series let me know! It can be a classic/basic piece or something more trendy. I’m open to ideas!
