Fringe Hem Denim and Olive Jackets
Whether you like it or not, fringe and raw hem jeans are trending right now. I admit, I was hesitant at first to try them. They are definitely a little out of my comfort zone. But they’ve really started to grow on me! I love the interest and texture they add to an outfit. At first I thought the fringe hem styles were way out of my price range as only the designer brands were offering options. But then I found some great styles at Topshop!
Sadly, this pair is already sold out. (I told you they were trending!) But here’s the designer version if you are interested! What I like about these is the straight cut and longer length. They will look great with tall booties in the winter! But Topshop still has two other styles to chose from. I have this pair which I styled in this outfit post.
If you are still hesitant about the full on fringe you should give raw hem jeans a try. It’s a more subtle look but still gives your jeans some added interest.
What do you think of the fringe/raw hem jeans? Would you give them a try?
I also have to mention this olive leather jacket. I’m LOVING olive shades for fall so I’ve been on the hunt for an olive leather jacket. Sadly, they’re aren’t too many to choose from right now. But luckily I found this one at Zara for only $30! What?! The color and feel of the faux leather is really nice. I’m usually an XS or S in Zara and I went with the small.
Outfit Details:

I really love the fringe hem jeans! I started to DIY a pair for myself and about 6 hours in tried them on only to realize I didn’t crop the jeans enough to start so all the fringe I made was dragging on the ground (yes, I am so damn short). Maybe I’ll get back at them over the weekend. Other than the time factor the process is really simple.

Haha…oh no! At least you didn’t make them too short! I definitely thought about DIYing a pair myself but didn’t have an old pair of jeans that would work. Looking forward to seeing yours!
I love this! So edgy yet you can make it look classy! I love that olive jacket!

I went to Zara yesterday for an exchange and they did not have this – so bummed! I love this look!!
Oh no! That stinks! I think the jacket is still available online though. It’s such a great price I hope you’re able to find it! 🙂
I like that style. I wish there is a petite one I can find. As for now, I just have been cutting the hem of my jeans. But I’m totally digging that frayed look.

Thanks! There are a few pairs of cropped fringe jeans which might work length wise for you! But making your own fringe jeans is definitely a great idea too!
I’m flashing back to my wedding party where I wore a pair of green fringed denim shorts!! You can easily fringe your own jeans. I am in love with that olive jacket! Hope you have a great Thursday. 🙂
Love it! Everything eventually comes back in style right?! I definitely thought about making my own fringe jeans but then got lazy…haha. 🙂 Have a great day!
Thanks for linking up to Top of the World Style. This look is great!
