How to Style Burgundy Boots ft. the INEZ Paz 70

How to Style Burgundy Boots

Size and Fit

I found the PAZ 70 boots to fit true to size. I’m either an 8.5 or 9 in shoes, and I took the 8.5. The PAZ 70 does have a tapered toe, so if you have wider feet, you might want to take your larger size. Since I have narrow feet, I didn’t have a problem with the slim toe.

I found these boots very comfortable. I usually don’t wear heels higher than 2″, but the 2.8″ heel on these boots didn’t feel that tall. The sole is cushioned with arch support, which definitely helps. The first time I wore these boots, I was walking around Longwood Gardens for a couple of hours! By the end, my feet could definitely use a break, but considering I didn’t break these in before wearing them out, I think that’s amazing! And I know they will only get more comfortable with wear.

Burgundy looks great with both warm and cool tones, making it a very versatile color. I could have gone with black boots to match the cool, dark grey tones of my coat and sweater. But the burgundy boots add a little more interest to the look while still keeping the outfit’s monochromatic vibe.

Jewel Tones: Navy Sweater

When paired, burgundy and navy convey warmth, depth, and sophistication. I started with my burgundy boots and paired them with my checked skirt, which had similar burgundy tones and neutral colors. My navy sweater adds that “pop” of color to my outfit while still complementing the deep burgundy tones. My trench coat ties the whole outfit together with warm neutral shades that match my boots and skirt, and a navy check print on the inside that matches my navy sweater. Finally, my suede bag adds texture and another navy element to balance out the outfit.

Earth Toned Outfit

The warm tones in my burgundy boots pair well with warm, earthy tones like olive green. My suede jacket and bag also give this outfit a more “earthy” feel. And finally, my sweater vest, which has shades of burgundy, green, and tan, ties the whole outfit together!
