How to be radiant on your period with always pads

THAT time of the month is never fun, amiright ladies?! Sometimes you have to worry about cramps, bloating, fatigue, and worst of all – LEAKS, while you are on your period. Luckily, I’m sharing some style tips to keep you radiant AND leak free while you’re on your period.

Tips for how to be radiant and stylish during your period

Style Tip #1: Get yourself some Always Radiant pads.

You don’t want to be stressed out about leaks while you are on your period. Not to mention, leaks DO NOT make your outfit look good! Always Radiant pads are up to 100% leak and odor free with FlexFoam™ that absorbs 10 times its weight for up to 10 hours of worry free protection. They also have a really nice light, clean scent that helps you stay fresh all day long. And now it’s easier than ever to find the right size pad for you with the Always Size Selector Tool. Two new sizes have been added so you’ll be sure to find the perfect size for your body and flow. And the good news is, you can find Always Radiant pads at your local Walmart!

Now that I know I don’t have to worry about leaks, it’s time to put my outfit together!

Style Tip #2: Choose a breezy sundress and simple accessories.

I don’t want to put a lot of thought into what I’m wearing on my period. Dresses may seem like a “fancier” choice to wear during your period but in my opinion they are the easiest and most comfortable thing you can wear. They aren’t restrictive and actually let air flow to your nether regions which will help keep things fresh. I chose a dress with a waistline that hit right below my rib cage to accent the smallest part of my waist and distract from any belly bloat that might be going on. In the past I might have been tempted to go with a darker, printed dress but since I don’t worry about leaks (thanks to my Always Radiant pads) I chose a light colored dress! I don’t want my period holding me back from wearing my summer whites (or light blues)!

A simple gold necklace, fun lip color, and fashionable clutch or purse are all you need to dress up your look. Finish with a spritz of your favorite perfume for an instant mood boost!

Style Tip #3: HYDRATE!

Drinking water during your period will actually help reduce bloating. Staying hydrated is important for keeping your skin looking radiant as well! It seems like such a simple tip but I know I forget to drink as much water as I should and during your period it’s extra important. So find a fun water bottle or tumbler to carry around with you during the day and you’ll find yourself wanting to drink more!

Style Tip #4: Get out of the house in your cute look!

Ok, so this may not necessarily be a style tip BUT I think it’s essential for looking and feeling radiant during your period. I think the worst thing you can do is lay on the couch and be tempted to eat junk food all day. Get a little fresh air and exercise to brighten your skin or meet up with a friend to have a good chat! That will always leave you feeling good!

I decided to follow my own tips and meet up with Adri for a coffee date at one of my favorite coffee shops. This dress is really comfy (and cute) and I didn’t have to worry about leaks at all with my Always Radiant pads. I was given a cute tumbler that I could fill with water to take along with me as well as this amazing leather clutch. As you can see, my Always pads fit perfectly inside my clutch or my slightly larger net bag.
